6th Annual John Berg Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Research Symposium Poster Session

All Chemical Engineering undergraduate students who conducted research (on-campus or remotely) during the summer of 2021 or the 2020/21 academic year are invited to present a poster on their work in the 6th Annual John Berg Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Research Symposium Poster Session.  Students who were designated as ChESS Scholars for their summer 2021 research are required to participate.  All others are strongly encouraged to participate. This is an excellent opportunity to share your results, practice essential professional communication skills and just enjoy being part of an event with fellow students and faculty who are excited about research.

A panel of judges will select students to be honored with the special designation of Berg Scholar. The Department of Chemical Engineering will provide travel and conference expenses for the Berg Scholars to participate in the Undergraduate Student Poster Competition on Monday, November 8, 2021, in Boston, MA. This is part of the AIChE Annual Student Conference that runs from November 5 – 8, 2021.

Participating students must contact Professor Tilton (tilton@cmu.edu) to register the title of their project and their research advisor’s name no later than Thursday, September 16. Details about poster format and printing will be distributed to registered participants.
