Please join us for the second annual John L. Anderson Distinguished Lecture Series in Chemical Engineering, alum and Chief Operations Officer of CSL Behring, Paul McKenzie (E'92). Dr. McKenzie will present "How BioTech Engineering has Contributed, Learned and Evolved from the Pandemic."

The John L. Anderson Distinguished Lecture Series in Chemical Engineering is held annually and brings celebrated and influential chemical engineering researchers to campus. This lecture series is named to honor the accomplishments of former Carnegie Mellon University Professor of Chemical Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering, John L. Anderson. Dr. Anderson, president of the National Academy of Engineering, has made an impressive impact on the field of engineering, both through his research and his many roles in academic leadership around the country.

Carnegie Mellon University Chemical Engineering alumnus, Paul McKenzie, is an accomplished global leader. With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing and R&D, McKenzie has held various senior roles for companies like Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Myers Squibb and Merck, and served on numerous professional and academic boards. In 2019, he was appointed Chief Operations Officer of CSL Behring and currently leads CSL's global end-to-end operations organization. McKenzie was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2020.
